🌟 The Beginning of a Movement

Aakashi Productions wasn’t born in a studio. It was born in Kalyani, a quiet town far from the bustling centers of the entertainment industry. In a time when the Indian anime scene barely existed, one idea dared to challenge the silence:

What if India had its own anime – rooted in our stories, our culture, and our voice?

Aakashi Productions is the answer to that question.

✨ Who We Are

We are India’s first true indie anime studio, focused on original animation, manga, and storytelling. Founded by a passionate creator with a vision to revive the animation culture in India, Aakashi Productions is now a growing collective of artists, writers, musicians, and dreamers.

Previously known as Project Kanime, we have now evolved into something greater — Aakashi Productions, named after the boundless skies (Aakashi means “of the sky” in Sanskrit), symbolizing creativity without limits.

📚 Our First Major Title – Aagami

Our flagship series, Aagami, is a rich fantasy grounded in Indian lore. It follows Neel, a young man drawn into a multiversal war against ghosts, guided by Niki, a mysterious girl from a destroyed dimension.

The series explores:

• Moksha vs destruction
• Tantric energy systems
• Ancient relics, cosmic weapons
• Yugas, mythologies, and hidden truths

With over 200 planned chapters and a multi-season roadmap, Aagami is set to become a landmark in Indian anime-inspired storytelling.
